Serger Instruction The serger is a great little machine that is frequently misunderstood. Usually equipped to handle 4 threads, it can be quite intimidating to thread. No matter what brand of serger you own, in the Serger Basics class you will learn how to thread your machine, understand the functions of the machine, troubleshoot potential problems, and make a sample note book. You will finish the class with two items made completely on the serger. Class fee $65 includes handouts and materials necessary to complete samples Saturday, June 21 and 28
1-4pm
Serger Sweets…Once you’ve learned the basics on the serger,
it’s time to get to the sweet stuff.
Let’s use the skills learned in Basic Training and venture out trying some new
skills. Tuesday, May 27
6:30-8:30pm Let’s tackle curves and straight lines and make a
cover for your serger.
$15 June 7, Saturday
12-2pm Time to try out some new
thread. We’ll play with Wooly Nylon
thread and make some placemats and napkins. $15 |
